Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again is a six episode OVA in the Macross franchise. It features a new cast of characters and was produced by Big West. After Flash Back 2012, Studio Nue no longer wanted to work on Macross as a series. Big West continued alone, building from Do You Remember Love? with Macross II and three video games. Macross II was the first installment of Macross to feature a new cast of characters.
