Description
The Life of Buddha is a 2007 Thai animated drama film based on the life of Gautama Buddha. It was released on December 5, 2007, in celebration of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80th birthday. The film was produced by Wallapa Phimtong, a Thai businesswoman, who faced financial difficulties and delays during its production. Despite seeking financial backing from a Thai government agency, the funding never materialized, and Wallapa became involved in a lawsuit over the production. The film provides a portrayal of the life of Buddha based on the Tripitaka.
