Mai, the Psychic Girl is a Japanese manga series written by Kazuya Kudō and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami. It follows the story of Mai Kuju, a 14-year-old girl with powerful psychic abilities. The series was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from March 1985 to April 1986 and later republished by Media Factory. It is notable for being one of the first manga series to be fully published in English. Viz Communications, in partnership with Eclipse Comics, published it in a bi-weekly comic book format in 1987. The series explores the adventures and challenges Mai faces due to her psychic powers.
