Description
Mae bia (Thai: แม่เบี้ย, or The Snake Lady) is a 2001 Thai romance-horror film directed by Somching Srisuparp and starring Napakpapha Nakprasitte and Akara Amarttayakul. This is a historical and culturally important film as it represents serious content and artistic merit in the small Thailand feature film history. Chanachol, recently returned to Thailand, joins a tour to reconnect with Thai culture and becomes attracted to the tour guide, Mekhala. However, their relationship faces obstacles as Chanachol is married and Mekhala has a mysterious connection with a deadly cobra.
