Description
Ral Ω Grad is a manga series written by Tsuneo Takano and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. It is loosely based on the Blue Dragon video game. The story revolves around a young man named Ral and his symbiotic relationship with Grad, a legendary shadow in the form of a giant blue dragon. Ral has been enlisted to protect the kingdom of Sphaelite from evil shadows with the help of Grad and his teacher, Mio. The series ran from December 2006 to July 2007 and was collected into four tankōbon volumes. It was licensed for English release by Viz Media. In North America, the four volumes were released from February 2008 to June 2009. In Germany, Tokyopop published the series under the title Blue Dragon RalΩGrad. The supporting cast, consisting of attractive young girls, is praised by readers.
