Description
Backstage Prince is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Kanoko Sakurakoji. It tells the story of Akari, an average high school girl who becomes the assistant to Ryusei, a talented kabuki actor. As Akari spends more time with Ryusei, she falls in love with him, and he begins to reciprocate her feelings. However, their relationship faces challenges from Ryusei's profession and disapproving individuals, including his strict father and a fellow kabuki actor named Naoki.
