Description
Akame ga Kill! is a Japanese manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. The story focuses on Tatsumi, a young villager who discovers corruption in the Capital and joins the assassin group known as Night Raid to fight against the corrupt Empire. The members of Night Raid possess powerful weapons called Teigu, and their goal is to overthrow the Prime Minister Honest. As the revolution gains momentum, they face challenges from the Empire's secret police force, the Wild Hunt, and the sadistic general Esdeath. Tatsumi's transformation and the final battles lead to the consequences of their actions. The series was serialized from March 2010 to December 2016 and has gained popularity for its action scenes and commentary on corruption. It has also been adapted into an anime series.
