Description
Ai Yori Aoshi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kou Fumizuki. It tells the love story between two characters who were childhood friends but haven't seen each other in years. The series was serialized in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine from 1998 to 2005 and has 17 tankōbon volumes. It was adapted into an anime television series by J.C.Staff and aired on Fuji TV in 2002. The anime had a second season titled Ai Yori Aoshi: Enishi in 2003. The series follows the story of Kaoru Hanabishi, a university student who is set to take over his family's business, and Aoi Sakuraba, who is in love with him. The series explores their journey of reuniting and falling in love. Ai Yori Aoshi has been well-received and has also been adapted into visual novels and video games.
